about Retinal Serum`
A: Retinal works faster and is approximately 10 times more effective than Retinol, leading to quicker visible results in reducing wrinkles and improving skin smoothness. However, it may also have a higher risk of irritation, so it is generally more suitable for those with prior experience using retinoids.
However, Nectapharma has designed the formula to be more user-friendly and gentle by incorporating Dual Encapsulation technology, which controls the release of retinal so the skin receives it gradually and continuously, helping to reduce irritation. It is also enhanced with SymSitive® to help reduce sensations of stinging, itching, and discomfort.
A: It depends on each individual’s skin condition. If you have strong and non-sensitive skin, you can use it.
It is recommended to apply it at night and avoid the eye area. For the first 2 weeks, use it every other day to allow the skin to adapt to retinal. (Recommended layering: moisturizer → retinal → moisturizer).
Once the skin has adjusted, you can increase usage to every night. Always use a moisturizer and apply sunscreen every morning.
A: It is recommended to avoid using Retinal serum at the same time as skincare products with a high risk of irritation, such as strong exfoliating acids (AHA, BHA, PHA), high-strength Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid), certain acne treatments, or topical medications with potentially irritating effects.
It is advised to use them at different times instead of layering them in the same routine.
A: It can be used with Peptides to help enhance wrinkle reduction while supporting stronger and healthier skin.
However, when used with Retinol, it is recommended to choose only one, as both belong to the retinoid family. Using them together is not advised due to the potential for overlapping effects, which may increase skin irritation.
